"No Child Left Behind"

Upon completion of a reading and math assessment on the computer, each child will be assigned an individual learning path with instruction delivered by an online educational program. Offline activity sheets accompany the online lessons for extra practice and instruction. As an tutor, you will be responsible for assisting students on the computer, guiding them through the lessons, and teaching each child any information, skills and/or concepts which need further explanation. The students need to be motivated and encouraged as they remediate in the areas identified in need of improvement. The ability to work with students of varied skills and ages is necessary. Accurate attendance records must be maintained. Written monthly progress reports are required. You will also be responsible for the students' safe arrival and dismissal. A parent can make a request to speak with you concerning his/her child. A criminal background check is required, at tutor's expense.
